Hot Yoga Plus is located just off the I-5 Freeway, about 5 minutes outside the historic Old town Sacramento and equal distance from the Sacramento International Airport. Natomas, a suburb of Sacramento, boasts a population of over 70,000 and until now did not have a studio dedicated to the practice of Hot Yoga Plus. Bikram Yoga is now available for visitors and friends from the Natomas community and surrounding areas. Hot Yoga Plus is a 90 minute class that works the entire body. Conducted in a room heated to 105 degrees with 45% humidity, students do 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises that work all the major systems and forces these systems to work together; cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, lymphatic, central nervous, digestive and musculoskeletal. Each posture is done twice, building and preparing the body for the next.
