Official Utah Hunters Education Course – Completion of a Hunters education course is required in Utah if you were born after December 31, 1965. This gives you the ability to take the FREE course and only pay if you pass. You will need to schedule your field day to go shoot and demonstrate your firearms safety to an instructor. You will be required to have a .22 caliber rifle and provide your own ammunition. All other fees are assessed by the State of Utah and/or instructors.
