"I am here" is a great tool for telling your friends where you are and showing them what you're doing. The app lets you take or open a photo, and then add a location marker and the photo to a map. Share the resulting image with your friends or save it.
The app requires an internet connection for accessing map data. However, it is possible to download maps to your phone (no additional cost) for later offline use.
The app can automatically detect your current location if location services are enabled on your phone, and you allow the app access to your current location. If location services are disabled, or you do not allow the app access to your location, you can still use the search functionality to manually find your location.
