The IDASS Fitness application calculates data from a four site skinfold test, to provide information on body fat and lean percentages. It provides the normal data for both fat/lean weight and percentages, providing the normal ranges. A helpful basal metabolic rate and estimated calorific expenditure value is calculated to aid in targeting dietary requirements. The results can then be e-mailed on to clients from coaches, nutritionists and trainers. Skinfold callipers are required to make the most of this App. These are available from the IDASS website.The IDASS Fitness uses the four site formula of bicep, triceps, sub-scapular supra-iliac. You should also be able to measure weight and height to maximise the app, whilst data can be recorded in metric or imperial formats from your scales and height meter.Gender and Age data is required to calculate the results and normal values.
