IMAGI, turns you and your phone into a magician. No skill required to amaze yourself and your friends with real card magic, performed just like a professional magician.

The Classic 21 Card Trick performed for you and your friends EXACTLY as it is performed by real magicians. 21 cards are layout in three columns. Spectator is asked to think of a card but not to inform the magician. Rather the spectator is asked to concentrate on the card and indicate which of the three columns the card lays within... The cards are scooped up, and layout out, two more times... each time the spectator is asked to indicate which column the card lays in.

On the last pickup, the magician reaches into the stack of 21 cards and with a flourish, reveals the chosen card.

This effect can be repeated over and over... unless they know the secret, your audience will never figure this one out.

This application was coded as an exercise in SilverLight animations, without Blend and without XNA, pure C# coding for the animation of over 25 objects on the screen at the same time.

The dealing and pickup of the 21 cards... with the flourish at the prestige providing good examples of SilverLight features.

We strove to make this a close as possible to an actual performance by a real magician. One might consider that the dealing animations are not quite correct, until seeing this performed in real life. For when laying out the cards in this effect a magician will not 'toss' the cards, but rather place them carefully into their columns.

Finally the 21 cards are culled from a fully shuffled deck of 52 cards. Therefore, each performance will display a totally random set of 21 cards... just like in real life.
