InfoTom works as a tomato disease, pest and nutritional disorder solving tool. It is designed to assist the user in finding solutions to common and uncommon tomato growing problems.

The application works as a diagnostic key where the user first selects the affected part of the tomato plant such as leaves, roots or fruit. A list of symptom descriptions are presented for the tomato plant part selected and the user chooses the most likely description of the problem.

The disorder description details how and why it occurs and some possible remedial action.
