Illumihats utilises the methods advocated in de Bono's "6 Thinking Hats" to help solve problems and evaluate situations.

It is targetted at two groups:

1) Higher Education students

2) Teachers/lecturers who want something to help their students formalise ideas at the higher end of Bloom's taxonomy.

It is a great tool for students who are making the move up to Higher education and are looking for guidance regarding evaluating situations - particularly in respect of assignment work.

Illumihats has the following features:

- A guided tour to explain the basics to the user both in terms of what Illumihats and how to use it.

- Recorded information is stored locally in a database that can be accessed again at any time.

- You can type in your ideas.

- You can also use your device's microphone to record your ideas.

- Messages and tours are both visual and spoken using built in Text to Speech functionality

- You can e-mail all you work (including recorded audio) directly from the app to the e-mail address of your choice.

Illuminasi is dedicated to providing good quality software. This means that we take error reports seriously and strive to resolve them. If you do report an error then please leave as much information as possible:

In particular, please let us know:

1 - Your phone make and model.

2 - Your version of android (if you know it)

3 - What you were doing when you had the problem. i.e. What buttons you had pressed, what you were trying to do etc.

The point of all this is so that we can recreate and resolve the problem you experienced.
