The conjugation exercises of ImparfaitToParfait help you master French verbs. You are presented with a particular verb, the tense and the person required, and you enter the conjugation. This is then marked as either correct or incorrect.

The deconjugation exercises (version 3.1.0 on) provide exercises that are the reverse of the conjugation exercises: you are presented with a particular verb phrase (such as "ai") and have to select the correct verb(s), tense(s) and person(s) for this phrase ("avoir", "present" and "je" for "ai").

The frenchToEnglish and englishToFrench exercises (version 4.0 on) provide exercises in selecting the correct tense and person when translating from French to English or vice versa.

The program contains over 40 of the most common French verbs and covers 14 tenses.

The program is very flexible allowing the user to choose which tenses to be tested on and skipping particular verbs. Accented vowels are handled without the need for a special keyboard.
