IGDIs SummaryIndividual Growth + Development Indicators (IGDIs) are used to monitor the language and literacy development of preschoolers, 3-5 years of age. Quick, efficient and repeatable; IGDIs measure the growth of young children over time toward important developmental outcomes. The IGDIs test is comprised of three key measures: Picture Naming (an assessment of expressive language development), Rhyming, and Alliteration (assessments of phonological awareness). The administration of IGDIs is designed to be repeated multiple times to track the developmental progress of children over a period of time.
