Install Monitor, the App Nanny - Designed by parents for parents:

Install Monitor will send you an email whenever your child installs or uninstalls any App and provide you a link to the app in the Google Play store in case you don't know what the app is. Stacy was installing Snapchat on her way to school and uninstalling it on the ride home, after we had agreed she would not use that App. We had no idea until Install Monitor started sending us emails.

Install on your CHILD's phone, not your own phone:

This program will monitor software installations on the phone where it is installed. You should be the primary account holder on the phone. If your child has his/her own account, there may be legal or privacy issues installing this software.

The Only Thing You Must Do:

Install the App and run it one time. The software has a "wizard" to guide you through configuration and allow you to enable the software.

You have to have a valid address. Email messages are sent from: noreply@route40software.com so that should be allowed in your email program's spam filter/white list/black list settings.

The Daily Reminder:

Although Install Monitor is designed so your kid does not notice it is installed on their phone and it is difficult to remove (without the password), kids are smart and may find it or try to remove it. The Daily Reminder is simply to tell you the application is still working. You will know if it is uninstalled or disabled when the app quits sending messages. If you notice Install Monitor does not send a reminder, you can get your hands on the phone and start investigating what happened.
