Music has its own alphabet, and its own arithmetic, a fluency with which I believe distinguishes the best musicians and songwriters. Practice frequently with this app, and it will become second nature for you to add and subtract intervals to/from intervals, and to add and subtract intervals to/from notes. Doing so is the foundation to forming chords, and forming chords is the foundation to songwriting. To use the app, touch a natural interval (or a note) and optionally drag it one or two positions clockwise or counterclockwise to sharpen or flatten it. Touch 'mark me' to submit your answer, touch 'tell me' if you're stuck, and touch 'ask me' for a new question. Correct and incorrect answers cause the screen to pulse green or red, respectively. Visit the settings page to adjust difficulty level, and the statistics page to track your performance.
