Dear friends and foodies,

Istra Gourmet 2012 is the official Istrian gastronomic mobile offline guide, independent and sponsor-free.

The Istrian Tourist Board and the Istrian Region Tourism Department have been publishing it since 1996, as a sketch portrait of the contemporary gastronomic scene in Istria. On many occasions, the culinary arts and gourmet products of Istria have been listed in the renowned international guides - Gault Millau, Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe and Flos Olei, to name only the best-known among them.

A lot of effort has been put into the expert presentation of local high-quality delicacies: white truffles, air-dried ham called pršut, sheep cheese, olive oil, seafood and the highly esteemed local wines Istrian Malvasia and Teran.

Istra Gourmet 2012 lists 120 restaurants, 49 taverns and agritourism establishments, 111 wine makers and 136 olive oil producers through:
