Flashcard is a simple yet very effective method to learn a language.

This application is an enhanced flashcard tool based on the research by Hermann Ebbinghaus. Each word is classified into different familiarity levels, starting from level 0 (not started) until 5 (mastered).

If you know the word, click the tick icon and it will not be shown for a longer time. If not, click the cross icon and it will be shown again for a shorter time. Or if you only vaguely remember the word, click the question mark and it will remain at the current level.

You will be reminded when words need to be reviewed. Keep working until all words reach the highest level!

The Level 1 pack is based on a very popular Japanese learning book: Minna No Nihongo. It includes lessons 3 - 25 (lessons 1 and 2 are already included in the lite pack).
