The Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) has released a free iOS/Android App. "Japan Life Guide" which provides information in 14 languages about daily life for foreign residents living in Japan. Please make use of this app. as an everyday guide and in time of disaster.

- Easy to understand information in 14 languages, on 17 topics such as "Status of Residence,” "Housing,” "Education,” "Health" and more.

- When an earthquake over seismic intensity 5 occurs in Japan, the app. will notify users in the language of their choice.

- Service in 14 languages: English, Chinese, Korean・North Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, German, French, Russian, Japanese (with Japanese syllabaries), Yasashii Nihongo (Easy Japanese)
