Kana Trainer will help you to learn Japanese Hiragana and Katakana.

You can choose between three different modes. Use the Training mode to get to know all the different Kana. In the Expert mode you will be asked 100 Kana. Try to reach a high score here. The last mode is the Challenge mode. In this mode you have 3 seconds to answer with the correct translation. In case you are wrong you get a penalty. Additionally, you can submit your score to a global Leaderboard. So try to compete with others and get better over time.

As input you have two different methods. First is the classical mode where you get 6 different answers and you need to pick the correct one. The second mode uses keyboard input. So you type in the correct solution. With this mode, you get used to write Japanese characters with your keyboard.
