This app helps the physician to execute the Karnofsky Performance Scale examination, the gold standard test to assess the functionality status of patients affected by debilitating diseases. This test is extensively used by physicians dealing with oncologic patients and with those affected by chronic illness. This can be used to assess the prognosis in individual patients and to compare effectiveness of different therapies. The lower the Karnofsky score, the worse the survival for most serious illnesses.
