About Kate Williams

Kate was born into a family of singers, her grandad being her biggest influence and inspiration. Listening to him sing when she was a child was the spark that set the fire burning for Kate.

Since then, there has been nothing she has wanted to pursue more. Eating, sleeping and drinking music, Kate studied every creative subject she possibly could throughout education, giving her a whole range of influences from across the board! She takes inspiration from acts such as the Police, Fleetwood Mac, Tom McRae and also has a love for powerful vocalists such as Jessie and Hayley Williams.

Kate creates fusions of folk, pop, rock and blues, laced with melody, harmonies and power. For her, the goal is telling a story and taking the listener on that journey. She writes every lyric with passion, heart and emotion at the forefront; classic tales of love and heartbreak.

Kate is wanting to work with a variety of artists and writers, but, ultimately, the dream is to be a known and established recording artist and singer/songwriter.
