Kid Companion requires a device administration permission to prevent unauthorised removal of the app by the child. To uninstall the device, you can access the Kid Companion app, insert the PIN you have initially chose when you first register the device, and click "Uninstall" from within the app. This PIN is also used to unlock the device when the time limit is up.

Kid Companion by Parental.IO (http://parental.io) helps parents to be in control of all technology devices that touch the lives of their kids. It curbs excessive usage of the device due to their addictive nature on kids, while encouraging parents to be present in all interactions between kids and technology.

Parental.IO recommends apps, activities, and maintain a usage limit for each kids device. The service is currently still on beta, however by downloading this app on your kids device, you, as a parent, already are able to:

* track and see the apps your kids use in the last 3 hours, 1 day, 7 days and 30 days.

* immediately apply PIN to lock kids device when it is dinner time, etc.

* set a daily limit for each device. It will be automatically locked when the time limit has been surpassed.

* Know where you kids are through location tracking.

You will be able to login as a parent on the parental.io site and able to access those feature mentioned above. You cannot do any of these from the Kid Companion app as it is designed to only track the app usage on your kid device.
