Earth's Only Line of Defense!

A large and dangerous Meteor Storm is headed towards Earth and you are the only one who can stop it! Using a powerful Kinetic Reactor, you pilot your Kinetic Satellite and deflect Meteors into space. The Kinetic Reactor in your satellite converts the Kinetic Energy from Meteor impacts into Kinetic Shield Energy. You must continue to deflect Meteors in order to maintain your energy levels. But the Meteor Storm is not entirely natural. It seems someone or some.. thing wants Earth out of the way. Be careful! They know you're out there, they know how to defeat the Kinetic Satellite and they have deployed countermeasures to drain your Kinetic Shield energy.

The object of the game is to get high score by deflecting meteors back into space while avoiding alien counter-measures. Each time you deflect a meteor, the kinetic force of the impact adds power to your Kinetic Shields and increases your score. Your Kinetic Shield energy drains away continuously. Deflecting meteors is the only way to replenish your Kinetic Energy.

You can also control the speed at which you move left and right. When impacting a Meteor, your speed will determine the speed and direction of the deflected Meteor. When a deflected meteor hits another meteor, they explode. Exploding meteors add to your score but do not add power to your Kinetic Shields.

There are three kinds of Meteors: Red, Blue, and Meteor Debris.

Red Meteors generate 5 points of Kinetic Shield Energy and adds 10 points to the score.

Blue Meteors generate 15 points of Kinetic Shield Energy and adds 20 points to the score.

When Blue Meteors explode, it separates into chunks of debris. Catch the debris to generate 2 points of Kinetic Shield Energy and adds 3 points each to the score.

Alien counter-measures can bring a swift end to your endeavors! Avoid the Kinetic Absorption Bombs, Kinetic Siphon Bombs and the devastating Swirly Bombs.

Kinetic Absorption Bombs drain 30 points over 2 seconds. The effect stacks with other Kinetic Absorption Bombs.

The Kinetic Absorption Bomb effect appears on top of the Kinetic Satellite for 2 seconds.

Kinetic Siphon Bombs drain 60 points of energy immediately upon impact.

Swirly Bombs destroy the Kinetic Satellite immediately upon impact.

High Scores

The game maintains a list of the top 15 scores. Scores are saved reminiscent of old arcade games. When you earn a high score, you will hear a bell and a dialog will be displayed asking you to enter a name. The name can be anything you choose, just like on the old arcade games. Choose a handle, nick name, initials, anything you want!

Due to differences in hardware across the three platforms, Ouya, Android mobile and PC, the game behaves differently depending on which platform you play it. For example, the mouse provides a different type of movement than does the Ouya or Android device. Each platform provides a completely different playing experience - essentially, this game is three different games in one! As such, the High Scores are kept separate. High scores achieved on one platform will not be displayed on the other two.
