I'm Kirk Lorange, been playing guitar since 1961. I moved from Canada to Australia in 1975 and I've been here ever since. Most of the 70's, 80's and 90's were spent in Sydney where I was one of the busier studio musicians, playing on scores of albums, dozens of movie/TV soundtracks and too many jingles and commercials to count. I also played in many bands, including Richard Clapton, Marc Hunter, Glenn Shorrock, Kevin Johnson and several of my own line ups.

In 1984 I recorded and produced my only album 'No Apostrophe', released through WEA Records. It was engineered and co-produced by Michael 'Stav' Stavrou.

In 1994 I wrote and illustrated my instruction book PlaneTalk which I have been self publishing ever since through the Internet.

I continue to write, teach and perform. My main band is Chasin the Train, a four-piece rockin' rootsy band featuring Kevin Bennett, Ian Lees and Mark Meyer.
