Kite Sight: A citizen science app for the reporting of Swallow Tail Kites (Elanoides forficatus). Frequently in the outdoors with your smartphone? Want to help researchers keep track of a rare bird? Now you can with the Kite Sight App!

Simply install and tell the app information about the kite(s) using a friendly and attractive user interface. Kite Sight will grab your gps coordinates and take a picture for you. All of this information is packaged and added to the Center for Birds of Prey's database for reasearchers to further understand this elusive species.

Kite Sight also allows you to manually enter the time, date, and location of a sighting if you did not have your smartphone with you but did have a GPS.

This is currently in the pilot-beta stage: as with all apps, please let me know of any concerns instead of putting negative reviews on the market, it is just as quick and will allow me to address your problems.
