GOLD vs. SILVER VERSION

KoalaPhone Gold: full version of the app with all features included. Contains the unique apps – simplified alarm clock, camera interface, photo gallery and a flashlight.

KoalaPhone Silver: limited "demo version". Only the last three SMS messages and three recent calls are displayed. A password for settings cannot be set and the function of the SOS button cannot be changed. Simplified apps (camera, gallery, alarm clock) are not available.

The silver version provides all the features of the gold version free of charge for one week. You can then decide if you want to upgrade and keep these features or stay with the silver version.

FEATURES

KoalaPhone greatly simplifies the use of smartphones in everyday life. Its a special application that completely replaces the default phone user interface. You can use Koala for all common tasks like calling people or taking photos. Other apps (such as Skype and Maps) can also be launched from the Koala menu.

ACCESSIBILITY

Buttons have vibration and sound feedback, and their individual functions are read out loud by text-to-speech when held down for longer. SMS messages can be written by voice (requires an Internet connection) and there is a SOS button that can be helpful for making emergency calls. The interface can be switched to dark or light colors and the contrast of colors can be increased even further for better readability.

INSTALLATION

KoalaPhone can be installed on any phone with Android 4.0 or higher. To set Koala as the main interface, press the "Home" button on your phone and select KoalaPhone. You can access your previous interface by going to KoalaPhone's settings and changing the "Selected interface".
