Karthika Pournami is a beautiful festival of lights celebrated in the auspicious month of karthika. That is, from the first day of karthika month uptil pournami generally falling from October end to mid November. It is believed that all sadhana done during this month contributes to the spiritual upliftment of an individual.
In Hyderbad a special event is organised by Bhakthi TV during Karthika masam called Koti Deepothsavam for these 15 days. This event is open to all. Discourses by spiritual masters from all over india followed by music, dance and lighting of thousands of lamps will be a treat to eyes and ears.
This year Koti Deepothsavam will happen from 27th Oct to 10th Nov expecting a gathering of over 20 thousand people and over 10 lakh viewers on Bhakthi TV and N TV. On Nov 4th the event will be graced by Sadhguru, founder of Isha Foundation, yogi, mystic and spiritual master with a difference.
