KySTE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional organization and affiliate of ISTE. It is committed to the support of technology in education. KySTE is governed by a Board consisting of 9 officers, 8 Regional Representatives, and an Executive Director, all of whom (except for the Executive Director) volunteer their time. The board meets monthly, and sponsors two major events each year, its Fall Training Event, and a large conference in March. In addition, through its grants and services arm KySTE Outreach, and the generous sponsorship and support of KySTE's vendor partners, KySTE promotes its interests through grants, partnerships, and special programs.
