LDS AV Assistant graphically simulates the operation of the sound system installed into the Legacy 98 style of Meetinghouse buildings.

Users have the option of selecting graphical elements such as doors, switches, input sources, and output zones which affect its operation. Output zones display over the building’s floor plan in various colors to reflect the different operating modes of the system.

The color overlays represent seperate audio channels used throughout the system and correspond to color microphones to easily identify where the sound originates.

LDS AV Assistant uses the same logic that is programmed into the building’s physical equipment rack and will only simulate real scenarios. For instance, you cannot enable the satellite unless power from the main chapel is already active. Furthermore, you will not hear sound from the cultural center microphones if the chapel power is on AND all 3 dividing partitions that separate the church, overflow, and cultural areas are open.

This is a great tool to have in addition to the well documented instructions and training videos currently available to all Stake Technology and AV Specialist.
