This app is a great tool to help you learn easily new words by creating your own dictionary organized in folders. You can easily add, move edit words in folders according to your needs. Apart from the word definition (or translation) you can add synonyms and example sentences to help you remember better.

Words can be set into three difficulties:

1 Star: Words that you know well. You know their meaning at first glance without a moment of hesitation and are using them in speech and recognizing them right away in your reading or listening.

2 Stars: Words that you now know. You have given each of these a fair amount of review, but they probably are not locked into your long term memory yet. With regular repetition though, they will soon be.

3 Stars: Words that are new or still relatively unknown.

You can add 1000 most common words of SAT in the Preferences and start learning!

Use your collection of words to create custom collections of flashcards. Review your collection whenever you have time. Just choose the folders you want to review and the difficulty of words by using the filter.

*Quiz

Simple games help you test your new learned words. You can choose between ‘Match word’ and ‘Match word definition’.

Note: This is the free version of the app, so the word number is limited to 1000 and the folder number is limited to 20. Get the pro version for unlimited words and folders, no ads and some other features!

LWM is very intuitive and easy to use.

In My dictionary, you can create, delete folders with the help of the menu above. Tapping one of the folders shows the list of the words of that folder. The words can be added, deleted, moved using the menu above. You can edit the words by tapping them. In the words list, you can quickly change the words difficulty by tapping the stars in the right.

Learn activity has two filters in the menu: folders and difficulty, where you can select which words to display as flashcards. You can easily switch between flashcards by swiping left or right. By tapping the stars you can change its difficulty. If you want to edit the word, just tap it.

When you are ready to test yourself, try the quizzes! Again you can filter the words for which you will be tested.

In preferences, you can add to your dictionary 1000 most common words of SAT, with definitions and sample sentences. Different languages and themes are available too.
