Tired of searching for the logbook and pen when in the car? The Learner Logbook app is here to help. Simply hit start when you enter the car and the application will automatically record the start and end locations, as well as the distance travelled along the journey. Then, once you are ready to write up the logbook, simply email an HTML version to yourself and print it out.

You can also add all the basic details to do with your trips, such as weather, road and traffic conditions and can attach an associated supervising driver. The app will even calculate the number of hours required to sit a driving test, and accounts for hours with an accredited driving instructor being worth more.

Learner Logbook is designed for NSW, Australia but may be useful to those from elsewhere.
