He has since received continued training on implants, cosmetics, lasers, three-dimensional radiology, sedation, invisible braces, as well as other aspects of dentistry. James has flown around the world to train with some of the best dental professionals.Dr. Penfield is an easy going and fun loving guy who grew up working in his father’s lumber business and also worked as a scuba instructor while in dental school. Overcoming cancer at a young age has developed him into a caring and understanding Individual with a high respect for quality of life and how he can improve it for others.Both loving the outdoors, Dr. Penfield and his wife moved to Alaska in 2004 to seek adventure. He has since had three wonderful children and enjoys watching his children and his practice grow. So few people can really say they love what they do.
