Lesetreneren is an app for training reading speed. Children who are learning to read need to train reading the most common words. The faster they read these words the faster they will read ordinary text. Lesetreneren has about 460 of the most common words in English (British) language available. These hight frequency words are divided into 4 word lists. You can choose for how long each word is displayed and how long pause between each word. A novice reader will need a longer display time than a more experienced reader. You will tune down the display time as you progress reading words. The app is meant to be a supplement in learning to read. Parents or teachers should assist the child using this app. They can tune for how long the words are visible and help and motivate the child to train. Adults with dyslexia could also gain better reading speed using this app.
