Lifelovers ABC is the Camper publishing project that combines the work of great contemporary photographers with brand-new texts by internationally acclaimed writers, who join forces to devise a singular visual alphabet that illustrates the Camper philosophy of inviting everyone to discover, experience and enjoy life's smallest and greatest pleasures.
In Lifelovers ABC #4 as seen by STRATOS KALAFATIS, this Greek photographer surprises us with the magic of his colourful, intense, Mediterranean images. His photographs capture the essence of his surroundings, transforming the most ordinary scenes into surreal images that convey not only the splendour of nature but also the simplest pleasures of life.
Kalafatis's compelling images are accompanied by unpublished texts by a select group of authors: the American singer-songwriter Sophie Auster, Agustín Fernández Mallo, creator of the "Nocilla Project", the provocative artist Momus (Nick Currie) and the Argentine short story writer Samanta Schweblin. Lifelovers ABC #4 also features video interviews of the authors.
