Calculate the distance of lighting from your current location by timing.

This app uses the difference between the speed of sound and the speed of light to tell you the distance of a lightning strike. Just tap the button when see the lighting, and tap it again when you hear the thunder.

After that, you will be displayed with a screen showing the difference in the time between taps and the calculated distance in miles. It also displays a map with a circle who's radius demonstrates the distance from your current location.
