The Lightastic Live Wallpaper is a light show live wallpaper that includes 5 beautiful live wallpaper presets, plus one custom mode (the free version only has 1 preset mode and no custom mode). Each wallpaper preset has full animation and reacts to scrolling. The full version of Lightastic Live Wallpaper also includes a shortcut to view the wallpaper in full screen mode, and a shortcut to the wallpaper’s settings screen (these shortcuts are not available in the free version).

LIGHT MELT (free and full version)

This mode resembles a fireworks show. Beautiful colored lights flow across the screen in ever changing formation leaving streams of color on the screen.

SOFT MELT (full version only)

Similar to LIGHT MELT, but uses larger soft lights.

DANCING LIGHTS (full version only)

Colors lights float across the screen, spinning and twirling, while changing formation and colors.

DIGITAL (full version only)

An array of digital lights spin and float across the screen.

ORGANIC (full version only)

An array of organic shapes spin and float across the screen.

VISUALIZATION (full version only)

Lights vibrate to sound input from the mic.

CUSTOM MODE (full version only)

The custom mode lets you design your own live wallpaper using the different built it floating objects, and the melt and react to sound options. You can also select from 13 different styles object.

BATTERY LIFE AND CPU FRIENDLY (free and full version)

Like all my wallpapers, this live wallpaper goes to sleep as soon as the tablet or phone’s screen is off, or when another application gains focus. This conserves battery life and frees up the CPU. This is an important feature not present in a lot of other wallpapers.

PERFORMANCE OPTIONS

There are also many rendering options available (16-bit modes, 32-bit modes, memory saving options, melt, fading, render speed, animation speed, maximum objects to display, etc.) that allow you to fine-tune the wallpaper for best performance on your phone or tablet. The free version only supports 16-bit modes, all the other options are only available in the full version. There’s also a “compatibility fix” to allowing melting effects to work on more devices.

WORKS ON TABLETS AND PHONES

This live wallpaper is designed for both portrait and landscape mode, and works for phones and large tablets. It has been extensively tested on the Samsung Infuse 4G phones, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch, Arnova 7 G2 7 inch, and Arnova 10 G2 10 inch tablets.
