This application is designed to capture lightning without much user interaction. Just set the phone in a window, point it to the sky in the direction of the thunderstorm and it will snap a picture when it needs to. Yes it does not always capture the lightning, but it will do it in time. The pictures in the app screen shots show actual photos taken with this app.
Be patient when trying to capture and DO NOT stand outside where you can get struck. This application is designed for you to be indoors.
