The "Living History of Illinois and Chicago" community is an ON SUBJECT group. We are about the photographs, history, stories and meeting like-minded people with a love for Illinois.

The entire State of Illinois is this groups focus. You are free to post photographs and comments. Links to images (i.e. Flicker, Picasa, Shutterfly, Photobucket, or other websites) are NOT suitable to post. Viewing full images is more enjoyable than clicking on a link to view a photo. When posting an image or an album of images, please upload the largest image (copyrighted or watermarked if you like) size possible so viewers may see the fine details. Additionally, write a comment presenting the history of the image(s) or your personal story. Posts with just a photo and no comments are considered a "hit and run", so please say something about the posted photo. Off topic posts will be deleted. Spammers will be banned from the group.
