This is the “Lost Ellie” application. It is a multi-purpose app which is primarily designed to keep track of the location of your children or any other person who has an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Personally I use it as a quick way to call my wife and to let her know where I am. You could use it to know the whereabouts of any of your children. This is especially useful in an emergency or if they need to be picked up, for example. There are variations on this theme which I am sure you will discover. Also “Lost Ellie” if placed in the upper left corner of your first page on your iPhone will serve as a way to have your device returned if you should lose it. When the icon is pressed it immediately sends the location to the email you have entered during setup. And then by clicking on the link you will see aGoogle map of the exact location of the device being used.As a side note; The icon is a cartoon picture of our precious grand daughter, Ellie. She was two years old then and you hear her voice while using the app.This app is for everyone who has a mobile Apple device. You will use this on a daily basis. Please don’t get caught without it. Notes: To change your settings (phone number and email) click on the little i in the lower right corner. The screen will flip and you can edit your settings. Tip: click on the phone Ellie is holding to hear additional audio.
