Then this is the app for you. It is, of course, a writing prompts generator. That much is true but, dear reader, it is so much more. The prompts held in the digital mind of this app are a little different to the prompts out there in the world, on the web and in books because those writing prompts, in our not very humble opinion are boring.

Boring and deeply uninspiring.

'Pick a prompt at random,' they would say. 'Use it as your inspriration.'

So you would pick and the prompt would be 'The Sea'.

The Sea? THE SEA!!!???!

Or they'll say 'Write a story from the point of view of a tree'.

And it made us want to bang our heads against a wall.

We like something a little more immediate in our reading and our writing. So, eventually, we came to the conclusion that no-one was going to write a generator of prompts that were more our cup of tea (coffee actually) and so we did it ourselves.
