This app plays a 1-hour lower back class taught twice a day at our center since 15 years by a yoga instructor with 28 years experience working with lower back conditions. Its effectiveness comes from a simple and clear methodology:On a mechanical level, our approach is to gently and systematically alleviate compression of the lumbar discs. We first stabilise the vertebrae in a supine position. Then, we strengthen the abdominals, lengthen the hamstrings, and gently explore hip movement. These classes do not treat these conditions. They simply eliminate practices that are contraindicated so the person can still enjoy the general benefit of the main class.The main class may provide relief for disc-related issues, but please swipe past any practice that brings discomfort.
