Herobrine is one of those characters in Minecraft who tend to never fade (even though he doesn’t exist in the original Minecraft – sorry to disappoint you!). In this mod you can bring Herobrine to life. Though, he’s no nice guy it appears like as he wants to kill you.

Minecraft was dull until hostile monsters were introduced. Believe it or not, but a large majority of minecraft users are entertained mainly because of this feature simply because the hostile mobs made survival much harder. Over time mobs have become harder and harder to kill, by introducing new ones, and also changing the mobs stats and abilities. Even so, the question is; what happens when hostile mobs are mixed with legend.

The Herobrine Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.7.2, is an extremely intelligent and hostile MCPE mod. By taking the myth of the mysterious Herobrine, and in turn, implementing the legend into the game; this mod works to make minecraft much scarier and much more hostile world to live in. The myth of Herobrine is based around the story of the brother of Notch. (The creator of minecraft). Whose name was Herobrine, or so his minecraft username was. However when Herobrine passed away, players reported sightings of the ghost of Herobrine in their SINGLEPLAYER worlds. This came to a shock to many players and the myth quickly turn into legend like a virus. Herobrine would haunt the fog of your world, staying just in sight. The character of Herobrine MCPE mod was almost identical to Steve, however the eyes of the character were a pale white colour. More rumours began to spread amongst the initial theory and Herobrine was given new “abilities”, such as turning animal’s eyes white like his own, and killing players whilst destroying the player’s game to disallow them ever playing minecraft. For many months Notch played along with this urban legend, editing the update logs of minecraft to “removed Herobrine”. Of course he was only teasing, however he eventually admitted Herobrine was fiction and he did not have a brother, nor he ever did.
