MOBO is modern way to practice orienteering using Smartphone. MOBO application is developed for local permanent orienteering courses, but using this platform, it’s possible to organise outdoor orienteering events for everyone and everywhere.

Smartphone is 3-in-1 device for orienteer – map, compass and punching device all in one. There are special QR codes in control points. To make a punch, show QR code to app, and your visit to control will be counted.

MOBO ehk mobiiliorienteerumine, seob tänapäevase tehnoloogia (nutitelefoni) ja traditsioonilise orienteerumise püsiradade ideed ehk pakub võimaluse tegeleda tervisespordiga (orienteerumisega) endale sobival ajal. Kolm ühes mobiiltelefon asendab kaarti, kompassi ja märkeseadet. Kontrollpunktid maastikul on tähistatud infotahvliga, kus on lühijuhend ja vastav QR ruutkood. Märke tegemiseks tuleb pildistada telefoniga QR koodi ja kinnitus, et oled punktis käinud salvestatakse. Koduleheküljel http://mobo.osport.ee peetakse statistikat enim kontrollpunkte läbinud mobiiliorienteerujate vahel.
