MagniCam is a magnifier without compromise. It is not meant to be a eyeglass replacement (especially for kids), though this is better than nothing. It is a camera as well if you like it, it can take and save photos as well. If the image you see is blurred, press the autofocus button.

Supported features include multiple themes (there is a big button theme to be easy to tap and see), auto contrast, flash, buttonless mode and many more that are available and supported on all Windows Phones. You can read about them in a short manual by pressing yes at the first start.

To take a picture (or to examine one as a still image) you must press the camera button, then check if it is properly focused. If yes, confirm it with pressing a button with a heart, then the picture will be saved to your camera roll, and you will be able to zoom it.

In trial mode you are restricted to have 20 MagniCam pictures in your camera roll. You need to delete them or move them away with the Pictures application or Zune, in order to be able to save any more pictures.
