Ok, I admit, I'm a geek and a parent. My kids play with my phone and I wished that I could get them to do some math before they start playing.
I wrote the "Math Exercises" app with the intention of getting them to spend about 10-15mins on math each day, regardless of whether they are being shuttled back and forth between various activities or sitting bored watching their sibling's activities.
Math Exercises contains math question across a range of topics from Grades 1 through 4. The questions are grouped into specific math skills such as conversion of word form to number form for grade 1 students all the way to multiplication of 2 digit fractions for grade 4 students.
Each exercise set consists of 25 questions. The exercises are designed to be taken multiple times with different questions generated for each session. The summary of the results can be sent by mail so that you can check on your students' progress.
The following exercise sets are spread across each grade by increasing levels of complexity.
1. Conversion from word to number form
2. Skip counting by 1, 2, 5, 10
3. Addition, subtraction of single, double, triple digit numbers
4. Multiplication, division of single & double digit numbers
5. Estimates
6. Simplify fractions
7. Equivalent fractions
8. Mixed fractions
9. Addition, subtraction of single & double digit fractions
10. Multiplication, division of single & double digit fractions
11. Conversion between fractions & decimals
Please understand that this shouldn't be seen as a replacement for your student's regular Math curriculum
