Fight monsters by solving math equations. This is a children's game that focuses on numbers.

Math Quest is all about building up confidence in numbers.

Many children feel uncomfortable working with large numbers and this game is meant as an ice-breaker for them.

The game presents a simple math equation and displays 3 possible solution. The possible solutions are in random order so even when the answer is straight forward the child has to look at the numbers and select the correct one.

The easiest monster uses addition and numbers from 0 to 10.

The most difficult monster will use large numbers and both addition and subtraction.

This game should be a positive experience for the child. Therefore it is important that the child is able to "beat the game". This is why the game only includes addition and subtraction.

Instead, for challenge, the game has a leveling up system. In the leveling system the child is rewarded especially for selecting the correct answer several times in a row. This reduces the motivation just to select a random answer.

The higher level you have reached, the easier will it be to beat the monsters. Basically because a higher level will allow the child to have more wrong answers. In this way it is encouraged to go back and play against an easier monster in order to train the child's number skills and level up so he/she may eventually beat the most difficult monster.

It is easy to reset the level so that another child can have a go at the game.
