This application is a mobile version of a publication called "Medicines for Disaster" compiled by Professor Ranjit Roy Chaudhury, Professor Sangeeta Sharma and Professor J. S. Bapna.
The application was developed under the supervision of Prof. Ranjit Roy Chaudhury, Adviser, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi (also currently working as Chairman, Task Force for Research, Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation, http://www.aherf.org/).
Efforts on the technology side were provided by Atul Goyal (4th year Undergraduate Student) and Dr. Amarjeet Singh (Asst. Professor) at Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing Group at IIIT Delhi (http://www.iiitd.edu.in/muc/).
This application is primarily targeted towards medicines used for disasters in India. The application identifies the drugs to be used during specific disasters. For each of the drugs in the application, their therapeutic use, dosage, possible side effects and interactions between drugs are some of the features that are brought out.
