Melody Simon is like the electronic game of Simon with one difference. Instead of repeating random sequences of sound, you repeat sequences of song melodies. The light version has only 5 melodies and 7 songs, but in every other way is like the full version.- There is a preview mode in which the song is played and the lyrics displayed allowing the app to be used for singing along.- The single player mode allows you to choose the song to be practiced. In this mode a couple of lines of the song are practiced at a time until they are mastered. The app then moves along to the next line. - The multiplayer mode chooses a song randomly and continues to add notes until the entire melody has been repeated.- It includes a retry button, mostly for single player use, but also for multiplayer to adapt to younger players or a laxer set of rules.- As the app plays notes, the keys are pressed, to show what key corresponds with the note, and the note is shown on a musical staff.
