Melody Simon is like the electronic game of Simon with one difference. Instead of repeating random sequences of sound, you repeat sequences of song melodies. The app plays a note. You play the same note. If you are correct the app plays two notes, and so on. There are 28 melodies, 30 songs, with lyrics. Fifteen Christmas songs are included. Many songs include multiple verses.- There is a preview mode in which the song is played and the lyrics displayed allowing the app to be used for singing along.- The single player mode allows you to choose the song to be practiced. In this mode a couple of lines of the song are practiced at a time until they are mastered. The app then moves along to the next line. - The multiplayer mode chooses a song randomly and continues to add notes until the entire melody has been repeated.- It includes a retry button, mostly for single player use, but also for multiplayer to adapt to younger players or to a laxer set of rules.- As the app plays notes, the keys are pressed, to show what key corresponds with the note, and the note is shown on a musical staff.
