You're in DC. Minutes matter. You don't want to miss the next train to your destination, and you definitely don't want to be in the station any earlier than you have to be. Metro Now can help.

Metro Now is a dead-simple app for checking real-time arrivals on the DC MetroRail. Pick a line, pick your station, see the times.

Metro now is designed to help you make quick decisions. Should you walk down that escalator, or do you have time to stand? (Be sure to stand to the right!) Predictions are presented in the same format you see in the stations. Data provided by WMATA, may lag by up to one minute.

You can also calculate fares. Simply select your starting point on the main screen, then tap "FARES" to calculate fares to any other stop. You'll also see an estimated ride time, provided by WMATA. (Unfortunately, this estimate doesn't account for delays.)
