How long has the trip taken, normally?
Rather than having this written on paper, why not let the phone keep the information organized.
Every 30 seconds or 500m it checks to see the distance you have travelled, rather than using a mapping program, as you may have to detour at times.
Should there be an option to save time and/or distance, as it could measure time spent travelling, with a client and the return, if all of that is billable hours, and no travelling may have been involved.
