This started life as a course project where we were asked to design a simple App that drew images on screen in the style of, say, Piet Mondrian or Ben Nicholson. As I've always liked Mondrian I decided to build an App that would emulate some of his work.

After I completed the course assignment I got hooked on the idea of an app that could draw potentially pleasing designs so I decided to extend the capabilities of the project App I'd built to include extra features.

The app randomly draws a grid and populates it with a random number of coloured cells. Once drawn, a new design can be drawn using the Menu / Refresh option or by simply tapping the screen. It can also save the design to your devices' Gallery App or even send a copy of the design to friends via your email App.

In addition you can change the default settings that are used to build the design, such as the maximum rows or columns and the colours the apps uses. This is done through the Menu / Preferences screen.
