The Mornington Peninsula Beaches app was developed due to limited or no internet access at many beaches in the area. Once downloaded, beach information is available anywhere without an internet connection. The Maps and Images although linked into the app are part of the peninsulaguide.com.au and require an internet connection to be viewed. With 80% plus beach images documented we will continue to update and add to our photos without any need for updates to the app.

All information contained in the app can be found free of charge at themorningtonpeninsula.com and peninsulaguide.com.au

The app does include additional functions such as locating all beaches within a five km radius of your current location, a function not yet available in HTML5. Keep in mind that anytime you use your GPS it will suck power from your battery.
