Museic Box belongs to a suite of easy-to-use tools, designed to empower young people with special educational needs and disabilities to actively engage with sound and music. Museic Box makes it easy to play music by touching the screen, tilting the device, or even waving your hands over the built in camera. Options to change musical scales, number of notes and record in your own sounds make for an incredibly versatile music making tool that affords true ownership to those that use it. Museic Box was created as part of "Listening Aloud" a collaboration between the MUSE Project, CARIAD Interactive and Cardiff Metropolitan University; co-funded by the National Foundation for Youth Music, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the MUSE Project Community Interest Company.
